Wednesday, July 1st – Knoxville Raceway (Knoxville, IA) – NDRL Super Late Models Summer Series – Hell Tour Late Models & 3D Racing Crown Jewel Late Models packed up and headed to Knoxville Raceway for our 12th Annual Silver Dollar Nationals. We had 9 Late Models show up to take time. Clifford Driskel would set quick time. We did 2 Heats going 8 laps. Winning Heat #1 Clifford Driskel. Winning Heat #2 Barrett Bishop. Getting ready to start the 50 lap main event. Clifford Driskel & Barrett Bishop would lead the field to the green flag and into turn 1. Clifford Driskel would have the lead coming out of turn 2. Clifford Driskel would lead 2 laps then Barrett Bishop would take over the lead and never looked back and went on to pick up another win and also will pick up your Hell Tour Late Models Week 1 Championship. Congrats to Barrett Bishop on the win and Week 1 Championship.

Wednesday, July 1st – Knoxville Raceway (Knoxville, IA) – Hav-A-Tampa Pro Late Models packed up and headed to Knoxville Raceway for our 7th Annual Possum Town Grand Prix. We had 7 Late Models show up to take time. Curtis Bishop would set quick time. We did 1 Heat race going 8 laps and Wesley Gwaltney would pick up the win. Getting ready to start the 30 lap main event. Wesley Gwaltney & Barrett Bishop would lead the field to the green flag and into turn 1. Wesey Gwaltney would have the lead coming off of turn 2 and would lead 20 laps then Curtis Bishop would take over the lead but it was not east as Barrett Bishop was side by side the last 5 laps as Curtis Bishop would hold off his brother Barrett Bishop to pick up the win. Congrats to Curtis Bishop on the win.

We had 10 Late Models show up to take time. Curtis Bishop would set quick time. We did 2 heats going 8 laps. Winning Heat #1 Curtis Bishop. Winning Heat #2 Barrett Bishop. Getting ready to start the 40 lap main event. Curtis & Barrett Bishop would lead the field to the green flag and into turn 1. Curtis Bishop would have the lead coming out of turn 2 and would lead 15 laps and would jump the cushion and allowed Barrett Bishop to get by for the lead as Wesley Gwaltney would close in on the final laps but could not get the job done as Barrett Bishop would take home another win. Kenneth Vess would set quick time. We did 2 heats going 8 laps. Winning Heat #1 Kenneth Vess. Winning Heat #2 Barrett Bishop. Getting ready to start the 40 lap main event. Kenneth Vess & Barrett Bishop would lead the field to the green flag and into turn 1. Kenneth Vess would have the lead off of 2 and would lead 3 laps then Barrett Bishop would take over the lead as Clifford Driskel was closing in on the leader but ran out of laps as Barrett Bishop would take home another win.
