Wednesday, September 16th – Port Royal Speedway (Port Royal, PA) – NDRL Super Late Models Fall Series & 3D Racing Crown Jewel Late Models will pack up and head to Port Royal Speedway for our 9th Annual Rumble by the River. We had 15 Late Models show up to take time. Clifford Driskel would set quick time. We did 2 Heats going 8 laps. Winning Heat #1 Clifford Driskel. Winning Heat #2 Landon Moody. We inverted Top 4 and going for 50 laps. Timothy Measamer & Wesley Gwaltney would lead the field to the green flag and into turn 1. Timothy Measamer would have the lead off of turn 2 and would lead 1 lap then Wesley Gwaltney would take over the lead but in the Closing laps Clifford Driskel would close in then on the white flag lap Wesley Gwaltney would go into turn 1 then off of turn 2 as Clifford Driskel made his move down the backstretch and into turn 3 as Clifford Driskel would take over the lead and make another last lap pass and go on to take home the win. Wednesday, September 16th – Port Royal Speedway (Port Royal, PA) – Super Dirt Series packed up and headed to Port Royal Speedway for our Speed Showcase. We had 12 Big Block Modifieds show up to take time. Landon Moody would set quick time. We did 2 heats going 8 laps. Winning Heat #1 Landon Moody. Winning Heat #2 Landon Moody. We inverted top 4 going 40 laps in the main event. Falcon Smith & Timothy Measamer would lead the field into turn 1. Falcon Smith would have the lead off of turn 2 and would lead 3 laps then Timothy Measamer would take over the lead and would lead 16 laps then Landon Moody would take over the lead and pull away but in the closing laps Clifford Driskel would close in on Landon Moody. On the White Flag lap Landon Moody going into turn 3 and would drift high as Clifford Driskel would go under Landon Moody as both drivers would drag race to the checkers and a Thriller at Port Royal Speedway as Clifford Driskel would make last lap pass to take home the win. Monday, September 14th – 5 Flag Speedway (Pensacola, FL) – American Super Late Models will pack up and head to 5 Flags Speedway for our Snowflake Showdown. We had 6 Late Models show up to take time. Landon Moody would set quick time. Landon Moody & Clifford Driskel would lead the field to the green flag and into turn 1. Landon Moody would have the lead off of turn 2 and would lead a few laps then Brayden Wares would take over the lead and would also lead a few laps as Landon Moody would try to pass for the lead but it was not easy as Landon Moody & Brayden Wares both battle side by side for several laps as Landon Moody finally worked his way by Brayden Wares for the lead and would pull away and go on to take home the win in our Season Opener & Landon Moody would also move into our Top 5 in our All-Time Wins List with 45 wins. Monday, September 14th – 5 Flags Speedway (Pensacola, FL) – American Whelen Modifieds packed up and headed to 5 Flags Speedway for our Snowflake Showdown. We had 6 Modifieds show up to take time. Landon Moody would set quick time. We went right to the 40 lap main event. Landon Moody & Timothy Measamer would lead the field to the green flag and into turn 1 and off of turn 2 both side by side for the lead several laps as Timothy Measamer would power on the outside to take the lead and would go on to lead 19 laps then Landon Moody would pass for the lead as both drivers once again would be side by side for the race lead several laps then with about 10 laps to go Landon Moody would finally clear Timothy Measamer and pull away and go on to pick up the win for our Season Opener. Congrats to Landon Moody on the win.
